How is Stan data billed?

On your Fixed Home Broadband Plan (excluding Home Wireless Broadband)

From 1st June 2016, if you are using a compatible modem on the Optus Fixed Home Broadband network, streaming Stan content will be unmetered (i.e. it will not count towards your monthly data usage allowance). Other data usage associated with the Stan application / website, such as downloads and uploads, will count towards your monthly data.

On your Mobile Plan (including Home Wireless Broadband)

Stan usage will count towards your data allowance. Similarly, other data usage associated with the Stan application / website, such as downloads and uploads will be deducted from your mobile data allowance and is not zero-rated.

If you’re on a Postpaid plan and you go over your monthly data allowance, you’ll be charged for it as per your plan. If you’re on a Prepaid plan, data will be deducted from your recharge credit. If you run out of credit, you'll need to recharge to keep streaming your Stan content.
