Restricted / Suspended services

If your service has been barred by Optus, it is usually because your bill is overdue. If your account is not overdue, contact us as soon as possible to discuss why your service has been barred.

Restricted services

If your service is restricted, you can receive calls but not make calls. To restore your service, make a payment and report it to us. We will automatically restore the service within 15 minutes to 24 hours.

Note. If you report a payment but we don’t receive it, the restrictions will be reactivated and automatic restoral may no longer be offered for your account.

Suspended services

If your service is suspended, you will not be able to make or receive any calls. Contact us from a different number to discuss options for restoring your service.
